Association of Catholic Health Care Professionals:

One of the goals of the Office for Social Ministry, Evangelization and Formation is to provide opportunities for prayer, fellowship and formation to health care professionals. Being a faithful Catholic doctor, nurse, pharmacist, physician's assistant, etc., is challenging in the current legal and cultural environment. We want to support you in living your faith as well as utilize your expertise to advise the Diocese on matters of health care and bioethics.

Among our hopes is to form diocesan-wide lay apostolates in each of the healing professions. The following are also under consideration:

An annual "White Mass" on the feast of St. Luke
The spirituality of the healer
Service to the poor
Work/life balance
Freedom to live your faith
